In collaboration with Dean Madden (NCBE, Reading) the SynBioStandards Network is currently exploring possibilities for the development of curriculum materials for synthetic biology research. These include basic protocols for molecular biology techniques, as well as kits for teaching integrated practical classes relating to core synthetic biology concepts (e.g. designing, modelling and building genetic oscillators).
We intend to make these materials freely available once they have been developed.
